Location: Bedford / Kempston
Pay Rate: £15.63 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary to Ongoing
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Weekend work available)
Shift Times: Day shifts starting at 6:00 AM or 10:00 AM
The Role
We are currently recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers for a temporary ongoing position based in Bedford/Kempston. This role involves delivering a variety of white goods, brown goods, and bulky household items directly to customers' homes while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle safely and efficiently.
Delivering white goods, brown goods, and other bulky household items to customers' homes.
Manual handling and lifting of items weighing up to 80-90kg as part of a two-person delivery team where required.
Carrying goods into customers' properties and placing them in the requested room.
Completing delivery paperwork and following company procedures.
Providing a professional and friendly service at every delivery.
Requirements
Valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
