Description:
ALink Recruitment are looking for 5x Electrical Engineers on a contract basis. The position will involve doing detailed design of rail projects. Candidates must have an electrical background and experience undertaking detailed designs of rail projects.
Essential Criteria:
* Right to work in the UK
* Degree in Engineering (Bsc, MSc or MEng) or equivalent
* At least 5+ years, post-graduate experience in electrical engineering
* Experience in the Rail Industry and a sound understanding of the Rail Environment, rules and regulations
* Competent user of office IT and design software tools i.e., AMTECH, Dialux, etc
* Working knowledge of AutoCad/REVIT
* Experience and good knowledge of TfL Pathway or Network Rail GRIP, PACE and engineering standards and specifications
* Experience and good knowledge of using electrical engineering standards and specifications (Rail or Building related)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to work under pressure within time constraints
* Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
* Proven capability to build relationships, be proactive and be part of a variety of teams, including multidisciplinary teams
* Computer literate and good experience of computer software programs such as, MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)
* A challenging attitude towards solving engineering problems to achieve cost effective designs and develop innovative solutions
