Job Title: 3rd Line Engineer
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Rotherham
Contract: Permanent, Full time

You won’t be a desk jockey or a clock-watcher; you will enjoy supporting clients face-to-face, creating relationships, and going above and beyond to deliver excellent customer service.
 
What you'll do:

Thoroughly monitor and manage backup systems, infrastructure, and data security
Communicate technical issues in a way that anyone can understand
Provide top-notch technical support internally and externally
Build strong relationships through effective communication at all levels
Identify and implement service improvements
Prioritize and manage workload to achieve business goals  
What we're looking for:

Full UK Driving License
5+ years' experience in IT Support, with a focus on 3rd-line support (preferably in an MSP)
Excellent working knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory, Virtual Servers, VMWare or Hyper-V, SharePoint, and Office 365
Troubleshooting skills for networking protocols and technologies like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and vLANs
Familiarity with daily system checks, servers, backups, firewalls, and anti-virus software
Certifications such as MCSE/MCITP Enterprise or Server Administrator
Knowledge of VOIP
Hands-on experience with IT hardware and software installation, modification, maintenance, and repair
Familiarity with mobile technologies (Android/iOS)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and with a flexible, 'can do’ attitude
