360 MACHINE PLANT OPERATOR - £24-£26 PER HOUR CIS

Long-Term Rotational Opportunity in Shetland

Location: Shetland
Rate: £24-£26 per hour CIS
Rotation: 11 days on / 4 days off
CSCS: Valid CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo required
Plant: 360 Excavator ticket required

We are currently looking for experienced 360 Machine Operators for a long-term rotational opportunity in Shetland.

The role involves operating 360 excavators across rural construction sites, carrying out excavation, earthworks, drainage and associated groundworks. The successful applicants will be working away from home on rotation and should be comfortable working outdoors in wet, windy and cold weather, with limited daylight during the winter months.

Requirements

Previous experience as a 360 Excavator Operator
Valid 360 Excavator ticket required
Valid CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo required
Proven experience operating excavators safely and efficiently
Experience in earthworks, drainage and trenching preferred
Experience working on soft or peat ground would be advantageous
Candidates with farming or agricultural contracting backgrounds alongside relevant plant operating experience are welcome
Comfortable working outdoors in a range of weather
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Willing to work away from home on rotation
Able to meet the physical requirements of the role and work scheduled hours
Must comply with company drug and alcohol policy and any required testing

Pay & Benefits

£24-£26 per hour CIS
Monday-Friday: 1.5x after the first 10 hours
Saturday: All hours paid at 1.5x
Sunday/Bank Holidays: All hours paid at 2.0x
Long-term rotational opportunity
11 days on / 4 days off rotation
Option for longer working spells
Work across established rural construction sites in Shetland

Working Hours & Rotation

Working hours will generally be 7/8am to 5/6pm, based on available daylight and weather, particularly during winter.

The proposed rotation is 11 days on and 4 days off, with the option for longer working spells where required.
