Cardiff | Temporary to Permanent | PAYE | 4 on, 4 off | 12-Hour Shifts
Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Wheeled 360 Material Handler (Sennebogen) and Wheeled Loading Shovel Operator for an ongoing position in Cardiff.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy recycling facility, with a permanent contract available for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will operate specialist heavy plant machinery, including Sennebogen Material Handlers, wheeled loading shovels and wheeled 360 excavators, while working to established site procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct pre-start checks and ensure machinery is safe and operational.
Operate Material Handlers, including Sennebogen, Fuchs and Liebherr, or similar machinery safely and efficiently.
Operate wheeled loading shovels and wheeled 360 excavators in line with site procedures.
Work to established protocols while adhering to cardinal safety rules.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Comply with site health, safety and environmental policies.
Be prepared for due cause substance testing as required.
Requirements
Previous experience operating Material Handlers and Wheeled Loading Shovels in recycling or similar facilities.
UK driving licence.
CPCS, NPORS or equivalent qualifications for 360 Wheeled Excavator / Wheeled Loading Shovel.
Reliable, proactive and safety-conscious approach.
Able to work 40-60 hours per week, including potential overtime.
