Description:
We are looking for 3.5T Street Cleansing Drivers to cover the Cotswold region.
About the 3.5t Driver role:
* Full time role (37 hours per week)
* Monday to Thursday 5.30am-2pm & Friday 5.30am-1.30pm. During the summer months (April to September) you will be required to work 1 in 4 weekends, (2 days off in the week). Additional £40 per day for weekend working.
* Salary £23,500 - £23,893 per annum

Duties & Responsibilities for the 3.5t Driver role:
* Carry out a wide range of street cleaning tasks within the Cotswold region
* Complete vehicle checks
* To comply with all transport legislations
* To work with other street cleaning crews and vehicles in a team to clear areas
* To empty, clean and correctly replace litter bins on an agreed emptying schedule
* To clean given areas to a specified standard removing all litter, animal droppings, leaf and twig fall, dirt and dust, loose chippings and other deposits, using a range of tools provided.
* To remove any reported fly –tipped waste
Qualifications / Skills / attributes required for the 3.5t Driver role:
* Full driving licence (maximum 3 points)
* Experience of driving vans / 3.5t vehicles
* Be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions
* Be fit and able to lift heavy objects & be on your feet for a large part of the day
* Good interpersonal skills as you will be working with other colleagues and engaging with the general public
* Ability to use initiative and work with minimum supervision
