Description:
3.5 t Luton van drivers required for Food waste collection service.
This will be working any 5 days out of 7, both day and night shifts are available
This will involve moving heavy drums and containers of food waste manually, with a sack barrow and tail lift etc
Vans are collected out of Dartford and work can be widespread, tip site is in North London so expect long days.
Drivers are permitted to take vans home after trial period but can not be used for person use, only traveling to and from work / collections.
This is initially a 3-6 month contract with both extension and full time opportunities
£220 a day contractor rate starting between 06:00-18:00 based on a 10 hours shift plus overtime at £33 ph over 10 hours
£245 a day for Night shifts starting between 18:00-06:00 based on a 10 hour shift plus overtime at £36.75 after 10 hours
Weekends £330 a day contractor rate starting between 06:00-18:00 based on a 10 hours shift plus overtime at £33 ph over 10 hours
Weekends £367.50 a day for Night shifts starting between 18:00-06:00 based on a 10 hour shift plus overtime at £36.75 after 10 hours
*Driver criteria for insurance , Min age 21 with 2 years professional driving experience, no more than 6 points, no DR Codes ( drink / Drug drive) must have experience driving commercial vehicles / long wheel base / Luton size vans and be happy to work in the waste industry
