Are you ready for an exciting Airport driving opportunity at London Heathrow Airport this year?
Aviation Recruitment Network Ltd is recruiting 3.5 tonne and 7.5 tonne Drivers. These positions are based at London Heathrow Airport (TW6 3UA).
These are Temporary to Permanent contracts with potential to reach £42000/year through annual salary appraisals. Airside drivers will work 4 days on and 2 days off shift pattern with 2 early and 2 late shifts – Part time and weekend work is also available.
For 3.5 tonne and 7.5 tonne Driver role, we are offering:
• £15.31 p/h payrate. Average £2653 monthly take home before tax.
• Monday to Friday overtime rate 1.5x, weekends and bank holiday overtime rate 2.0x.
• 40 hours per week guaranteed and plenty overtime available.
• Choice of weekly pay or monthly pay.
• 4 on 2 off shift pattern working earlies and lates, Full-time and Part-time hours available.
• Free parking is available in a ULEZ-free zone.
Duties of 3.5 tonne and 7.5 tonne Driver will include:
• Driving 18 tonnes vehicle inside Heathrow airport – Training will be provided.
• Driving vehicle to deliver and collect airfreight cargo to and from aircraft.
• Assist with the loading of palletised items onto vehicles using specialist loading equipment.
• Perform airside driving in a safe manner and performing vehicle safety checks.
Requirements for 3.5 tonne and 7.5 tonne Driver role:
• Aged 25+ due to insurance purpose
• Valid manual UK driving licence (max 6 points).
• Experience in driving 3.5 tonne or 7.5 tonne vehicles.
• 5-year checkable history and clear criminal record check
• Ability to work shifts between 0600 hrs – 2300 hrs, working 4 days on and 2 days off shift pattern.
• Ability to pass a driver's medical and colour vision assessment.
Any applicants currently working at Heathrow Airport with airside driving experience will be highly desirable.
