The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a 2nd Line IT Support Technician?
Manage and oversee multiple tickets and projects.
Provide technical support within the team and handle 2nd line tickets and projects.
Maintain and update IT documentation.
Meet and exceed SLAs.
Communicate effectively with both customers and staff.
Report directly to and collaborate closely with the senior management team.
Primarily an office-based role with some onsite work as required.
Occasional opportunities for overtime available.
2nd Line IT Support Technician
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proven experience managing multiple tickets and incoming requests in a high-pressure environment.
Exceptional customer service skills with strong engagement abilities.
Experience in 2nd Line Service Desk support.
Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, and NPS.
Knowledge of network technologies such as firewalls, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi.
Experience with cloud solutions, particularly Microsoft Office 365 and Azure.
Familiarity with storage solutions like NAS and SharePoint.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Competence in Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools.
Proficiency in Professional Services Automation (PSA) management.
