A fantastic well known global company is looking to grow their IT team and is requiring an experienced 2nd line engineer to join them

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer with expertise in audio-video systems to join our team. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our internal users, ensuring the smooth operation of their desktops, laptops, and audio-video equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
* Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems and applications.
* Diagnose and resolve audio-video system issues, including conference room setups, projectors, displays, and audio equipment.
* Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain audio-video solutions for meetings and presentations.
* Assist in the setup and support of video conferencing systems, including hardware, software, and network connectivity.
* Perform routine maintenance and updates on desktop systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
* Document support activities, procedures, and configurations for knowledge sharing and future reference.
* Provide training and guidance to end-users on the proper use of audio-video equipment.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role, with exposure audio-video systems.
* In-depth knowledge of desktop operating systems, including Windows 10 & 11.
* Experience troubleshooting audio-video systems, including codecs, and conferencing platform ( Microsoft Teams).
* Strong understanding of network connectivity, protocols, and infrastructure.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus
