Experis are working with a multinational car leasing company who are hiring for a 1st line support/technical support engineer in Swindon
Overview of the contract details
£170 per day Inside IR35
1 month initial contract
5 days on site in SwindonAs an overview of the role you will:
Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person.
Log and manage support tickets using the company's ticketing system.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Escalate complex issues to second-line support or relevant departments as necessary.
Ensure all support requests are resolved within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Support software applications and ensure they are up to date.
Perform basic network troubleshooting and support.
Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions.You will need to have experience with:
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software applications.
Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
