Our Client is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their friendly and dynamic support team providing remote support to Businesses across the UK.
This is a great opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic 1st Line Support Engineer. As the first point of contact for IT-related issues, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to the client base, ensuring their IT systems run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to incoming service desk calls, emails, and tickets in a timely and professional manner.
* Provide first-line technical support for hardware and software issues
* Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, escalating more complex issues to the appropriate team member
* Log all support activities and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
* Set up and configure user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
* Assist with basic network and system administration tasks as required.
Requirements:
* One year’s equivalent work experience within an IT Support / Managed Service Provider environment
* Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems; Office 365; Microsoft Azure; Active Directory
* Experience using remote access tools
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks.
* Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills in the IT field.
* Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role is preferred but not essential.
