121 Autism Support for EYFS Pupil

Role: 121 SEN TA

Location: Primary School in the Sleaford-area

Salary: £85 - 95 per day (dependent on experience)

Type: Permenant

A beautiful, Ofsted "Good" school on the outskirts of Sleaford are looking for an experienced 121 Autism Support TA to help an EYFS pupil. This role is to start ASAP, continuing on in Term 6 and joining the team for the new academic year!

The role is providing 121 support to a pupil with high-ASD in the school's EYFS class. This pupil started the year as non-verbal but has made great progress in their communication development. They are bright and a joy to support throughout the day. There are limited behaviour issues, only when the pupil becomes overstimulated which has greatly reduced with previous 121 support. The class is well supported with several members of staff present throughout the day, this school believes in teamwork and leaning on each other during the tough days. Information about the role:

Currently part-time, 2-days a week, these being Thursday and Friday.
Working hours are 8:45am to 2pm with a 30 minute break.
Opportunites are available to work extra days within the school as a KS1 teaching assistant.

Requirements for the role:

Experience supporting ASD individuals, either personally or professionally.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply for one.
GCSE's in English and Maths.
Availability to work Thursday and Friday.
