Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Scunthorpe area
Salary: £12.83 - £14.83 per hour
Type: Part-time, Afternoon's only, Term-time only
Working Hours: 12:00 - 15:15, Monday to Friday
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School school in the Scunthorpe area. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will support a pupil with an EHCP You will also be responsible for ensuring they remains on task within the classroom. This is a part time role (afternoon's only) and long term starting in September until further notice.
Responsibilities:
Offering support to a pupil on a 1:1 basis within and outside of the classroom.
Monitoring behaviour, identifying and addressing challenging behaviour.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with the pupil.
Providing guidance and support to the pupil, ensuring their welfare is protected.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, learning support, or working with challenging behaviour.
Reliability and stability for the pupil.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Teaching Assistant Qualification
The ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
A caring and nurturing personality.
A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
A valid DBS check.
