If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant at a nurturing primary school in South Liverpool.

The Role:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a child in Key Stage 1 with their learning and development. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing one-to-one support to the child, helping them to access the curriculum and make progress in their learning.
Implementing individualised learning plans and strategies to support the child's specific needs.
Building a positive and trusting relationship with the child, fostering their confidence and self-esteem.
Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure that the child's needs are met and that they are fully included in classroom activities.
Monitoring and assessing the child's progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and parents/guardians as necessary.Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, ideally with experience supporting children with special educational needs.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of the child.
Flexibility and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one. What We Offer:
