Location: Primary School, Wavertree
Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant (ADHD Pathway Support)

Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Teaching Assistant to support a child on the ADHD pathway. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive learning environment, helping the child navigate their educational journey with confidence and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one support to a child with ADHD, tailoring strategies to meet their unique needs.
Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs).
Help maintain a structured and supportive classroom environment.
Monitor and record the child's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Implement behavioural management strategies to enhance the child's focus and engagement.
Support the child in developing social skills and building positive relationships with peers.
Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices for supporting children with ADHD.Requirements:

Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
Understanding of ADHD and strategies to support children with the condition.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (SEN) is desirable.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one. What We Offer:
