Elementa is recruiting for a 1:1 HLTA to support a child with high level needs in key stage 2. The role will require supporting the student on a 1:1 basis, and it will be necessary to build a positive relationship quickly, to ensure trust is gained, but also to be able to put in the appropriate boundaries in place to help them follow their timetable. We are looking for a supportive and caring individual who can build a trusting relationship with the child, in order to help develop the child's educational needs. Commitment to the role is a must, to be able to build the bond with the learner quickly, allowing them to gain the trust needed for the support to work.
In addition to the 1:1 support, you will be asked to provide support across the school when needed, whether this be to additional learners or providing PPE cover to cover the teacher,
