Description:

We're looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic Learning Partner to join a welcoming primary school in Patchway, providing dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

This is a genuinely rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll be helping a child build confidence, overcome barriers to learning and celebrate those brilliant little wins that make all the difference.

What you'll be doing

Working closely with the class teacher and SEND team, you'll provide tailored 1:1 support to help your pupil access learning, develop socially and emotionally, and feel confident in the classroom.

You'll adapt activities where needed, encourage independence and be a calm, reassuring presence throughout the school day.

We're looking for someone who:

Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Has experience working within a primary school or educational setting, this is highly desirable
Is patient, compassionate and able to build positive relationships with children
Can remain calm, adaptable and encouraging, even on challenging days
Holds an Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one
Can provide 24 months of references as part of the compliance process

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
