1:1 Behaviour Support Specialist - Full-Time Role in Leeds

If so, we have the perfect role for you! We are looking for a 1:1 Behaviour Support Specialist to join a primary school team in Leeds. This full-time position offers an incredible opportunity to provide individualised support to a child in Key Stage 2 (KS2), helping them overcome challenges and thrive in their learning environment.

Previous experience working with children in a school or education-based setting is essential.
Experience supporting children with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
A compassionate and understanding approach to supporting children with complex needs, recognising their individual strengths and challenges.
Ability to work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored support plans.
Willingness to adapt to the changing needs of the child and school environment, always ensuring effective support.Key Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated one-on-one support to a child with SEMH needs, implementing personalised behaviour management strategies and interventions.
Foster a positive and nurturing relationship with the child, offering emotional support, guidance, and encouragement.
Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualised support plans, ensuring the child's needs are met effectively.
