Description:
ABC Teachers are seeking a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school based in Bedworth to start in September 2024. This would be on a fulltime basis.
The role itself:
You will be working 1:1 with a specific pupil, assisting in classrooms and providing interventions for a specific pupil while de-escalating stressful situations to help the teacher conduct lessons successfully.
This specific school develops the whole child, and their pupils are encouraged to be independent and lead their own learning. This overall, prepares them for the transition into the next part of their educational journey, as well as most of all, provides them with the resilience and ambition to achieve their hopes and dreams.
You must have:
Effective behaviour management skills
Strong adaptability
Great communication skills to be able to cater to the specific child and communicate.
A strong passion for learning and showing creativity and helping others.
Patience, Resilience and Reliability
Strong interpersonal skills to cater to the specific needs of the pupil.
Be able to provide 2 solid references covering years’ experience.
Hold a DBS registered on the update service or must be able to arrange one.
Must have previous experience working within education or with SEN or a similar environment.
